Our seven-day package offers a mouthwatering array of international dishes and Sri Lankan specialties, made with the freshest ingredients. In addition to your surfing adventures, we want your food experience at Solas to also be one of the things you carry back home.
The menu is curated to ensure you experience a great mix of healthy, delicious and satisfying meals, including traditional Sri Lankan specialties. We make it a point to pick seasonal items, so you get farm to table freshness.
Fruit and vegetables are grown organically with some of them coming from our very own garden approximately 2Km from the Villa. We source the food we don’t farm ourselves locally from sustainable and ethical suppliers, so our guests will always enjoy only the freshest of ingredients.
A typical breakfast includes all regular favourites such as eggs, curd, fruit, bread and daily Sri Lankan specialities. You can experience the rich flavours and unique taste of the southern coast such as pittu, coconut rotis, milk rice and an assortment of sambols. Of course, fresh juices, coffee and tea are included.
If you have special dietary needs such as requests for gluten-free or vegan meals, our chef will ensure you are well taken care of.
Five nights of the week, we have dinner at the villa, ensuring you wind down your day with unique themed meals such as a Sri Lankan Hopper Night, BBQ Under the Stars, Mexican Night, Sea Food Night and Curry Night.
These meals are a combination of buffet and sit-down to allow you to eat as much as you want with as much variety. The items on the menu will vary depending on seasonality but each night will bring you an array to choose from.
We have picked two excellent partner restaurants for the two nights we go out, for which you are required to pay independently.
For lunch, you can order from the cafe menu which consists of a selection of light meals and salads with plenty of local seafood and local specialties. Our menu changes with seasonality to ensure freshness. If you wish to venture out, we can recommend several good quality restaurants in Ahangama and Weligama.
